Rinaldo was given a cross checking minor, a roughing minor, a 10-minute misconduct and a game misconduct for his actions.
When asked about the hit today, Rinaldo said, "It's my emotions. I wear my heart on my sleeve. I was really frustrated that we were getting blown out of the water, 9-3, so I took matters into my own hands."
