Report: Penguins recall Williams - 02-07-12

According to Jonathan Bombulie of the Citizens Voice in Wilkes-Barre, the Penguins have recalled forward Jason Williams (right) from the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.

Williams, 31, has appeared in seven NHL games this season and has scored two points (one goal, one assist).

In 35 AHL games, Williams has 31 points (seven goals, 24 assists).

Penguins forward Tyler Kennedy will not play in Montreal tonight due to an apparent leg injury he suffered in New Jersey Sunday. He traveled to Pittsburgh to have his ailment evaluated.
