Gaining tenure - 10-05-11

It wasn't very long ago that Sidney Crosby became the youngest captain in NHL history.

Today, he's one of the longest serving.

If you go by seasons (as opposed to the actual date he was given the "C"), Crosby is tied for having the fourth-longest tenure among captains currently in the NHL:
