-The Mario Lemieux Foundation is holding a fantasy camp with the man himself as well as other former Penguins Bryan Trottier, Mark Recchi, Rick Tocchet, Bill Guerin, Gary Roberts and Jay Caufield.
-Happy 66th birthday to former Penguins defenseman John Arbour. Acquired along with Jean Pronovost during the 1968 offseason in a deal which sent cash to Boston, Arbour's Penguins career amounted to 17 games and two assists in 1968-69. In the 1969 offseason, Arbour was traded to Vancouver of the WHL along with Paul Andrea and Andy Bathgate in exchange for Bryan Hextall, Jr.
Atlantic Division
-Flyers forward Wayne Simmonds (right) will not be disciplined by the NHL after he was accused of using a homophobic slur against Rangers forward Sean Avery Monday.
-The NHL issued a statement reminding player not to use slurs.
-The Flyers placed forward Tim Sestito on waivers. Additionally, Flyers forwards James van Riemsdyk and Andreas Nodl ("upper" body) and Brayden Schenn ("lower" body) are dinged up.
Northeast Division
-A goal and two assists by Mikhail Grabovski led the Maple Leafs past the Senators, 5-3.
-The video isn't great, but it appeared Senators forward Chris Neil struck Grabovski in the head with a check:

-The Bruins placed forward Zach Hamill, the No. 8 overall pick in 2007, on waivers with the hopes of demoting him to Providence of the AHL.
-The Canadiens demoted forward Gabriel Dumont to Hamilton of the AHL.
Southeast Division
-The Jets demoted forwards John Albert, Akim Aliu, Kevin Clark, Mike Forney, Riley Holzapfel, Jason Jaffray, Eric O’Dell, Marco Rosa, Shawn Weller, Shayne Wiebe, goaltenders Chris Carrozzi, Peter Mannino, defensemen Ben Chiarot, Mark Flood, Arturs Kulda, Julian Melchiori, Edward Pasquale, Travis Ramsey, Zach Redmond, Cody Sol to St. John's of the AHL.
Central Division
-Jaroslav Halak made 17 saves for the Blues in a 4-3 defeat of the Wild.
-The Blue Jackets demoted forwards Cody Bass, Dane Byers, Nick Drazenovic, Andrew Joudrey, goaltenders Allen York, Paul Dainton and defensemen Cody Goloubef to Springfield of the AHL.
-The Red Wings demoted defensemen Greg Amadio, Gleason Fournier, Sebastien Piche and Bryan Rufenach, forwards Louis-Marc Aubry, Mitchell Callahan, Willie Coetzee, Adam Estoclet, Jamie Johnson, Andrej Nestrasil, Nick Oslund, Francis Pare, Trevor Parkes, Brent Raedeke and goaltender Thomas McCollum to Grand Rapids of the AHL.
Northwest Division
-Henrik Karlsson made 13 saves for the Flames in a 2-0 shutout of the Islanders.
-Hit of the Night: New York's Trevor Gillies on Calgary's Derek Smith:
-Taylor Hall had two goals and an assist for the Oilers in a 3-2 defeat of hte Coyotes.
-Oilers forward Sam Gagner is dealing with a sprained ankle.
Pacific Division
-Michael Ryder's overtime goal led the Stars past the Panthers, 4-3.
-Dallas' Brenden Dillon had issues with Florida's Shawn Matthias:

-Ducks forward Jean-Francois Jacques was suspended seven games (two preseason, five regular season) for leaving the bench to fight Vancouver's Mike Duco Saturday:
-The Kings demoted forwards Marc-Andre Cliche, Rich Clune and David Meckler to Manchester of the AHL.
-The Sharks apparently aren't up to date on that whole Constitution deal.
