-Happy 47th birthday to former Penguins forward Doug Brown (right). A free agent signing in the 1993 offseason, Brown's only season in Pittsburgh saw him appear in 77 games and score 55 points for 1993-94 Northeast Division champions. Early in the lockout-shortened 1994-95 season, he was claimed off waivers by the Red Wings.

Playoff Stuff
Canucks - Bruins

-"He's given up six goals in five games. The guy that made the comment, I'm not quite sure how many he let in." - Bruins coach Claude Julien responding to comments by Canucks goaltender Roberto Luongo who said he could have saved the only goal Boston goaltender Tim Thomas allowed in Game 5.

Note: Luongo has allowed 14 goals in the series.

-"I said also that he might make some saves that I don't, so I was just saying on that particular play I would have played it different and that's the difference between me and him. I've been pumping his tires ever since the series started, and I haven't heard one nice thing he had to say about me, so that's the way it is." - Luongo responding to questions regarding his initial comment on Thomas.

-"That wasn’t too much fun. My son told me a man was making fun of me and Uncle Danny on TV. I said that can't be true because that's what usually happens in kindergarten. That's what happened. Sometimes grown-ups have low self-esteem and get on guys and say stupid stuff. I think he has to be happy with his career. He did a great job on Long Island. I'm sure he is happy with that." - Canucks captain Henrik Sedin responding to comments from NBC broadcaster and former Islanders general manager Mike Milbury who referred to Sedin and his brother, Daniel, as "Thelma And Louise."

-"He made a bad comment about us, calling us women. I don't know how he looks at women. I would be pretty mad if I was a woman.” - Daniel Sedin.
