Penguins recall Thiessen - 03-24-11

Here's a peculiar move.
The Penguins recalled goaltender Brad Thiessen (above) from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL (PG+).
In 42 AHL games this season, Thiesen a 32-7-1 record, a 1.88 goals-against average, a .924 save percentage and seven shutouts. His wins, goals against average and shutout totals lead the league.
The move would seem to indicated either Marc-Andre Fleury or Brent Johnson would not be available for tornight's game. According to the Post-Gazette's Dave Molinari, a team official had no immediate word on the reason for the move.
Update: According to the team's Web site, Johnson is day to day due to an "upper-body" injury.
For the Flyers, rookie goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky is expected to get the start. In 46 games this season, he has a 26-11-5 record, 2.61 goals against average and .914 save percentage. He has a 2-1-0 record against the Penguins this season with a 2.67 goals against average and .911 save percentage.
