-Two goals by Andrew MacDonald led the Islanders to a 5-2 win against the Blues. Michael Grabner, P.A. Parenteau and John Tavares each added a goal and an assist for New York while Al Montoya made 21 saves in the victory. Andy McDonald netted a goal and an assist for St. Louis.

Brad Boyes, Paul Gaustad and Thomas Vanek each recorded two assists for Buffalo while Ryan Miller made 33 saves in the victory. The Flyers are in first place in the Eastern Conference and Atlantic Division with 86 points, two more than the Penguins who are in fourth and second place respectively.

The Lightning is in third place in the Atlantic Division with 81 points, three fewer than the Penguins.

Blake Wheeler added two goals for Atlanta while teammate Dustin Byfuglien recorded three assists. Chris Mason made 31 saves in the victory. Sergei Samsonov and Stephen Weiss each netted a goal and an assist for Florida.

Central Division
-Former Penguin Marian Hossa had a goal and an assist for the Blackhawks in a 5-3 win against the Maple Leafs. Fire Ray Shero. Corey Crawford made 30 saves in the victory. Luke Schenn netted a goal and an assist for Toronto.
