Penguins demote Sterling - 02-26-11

The Penguins have demoted forward Brett Sterling to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL.

In seven NHL games this season, Sterling, 26, has five points (three goals, two assists).

In 46 AHL games this season, he has 39 points (18 goals, 21 assists).

Sterling was a free agent signing this past offseason.
