Penguins recall Strait - 02-25-11

With Brook Orpik (finger) out four to six weeks and Paul Martin ("upper-body") day to day, the Penguins recalled defenseman Brian Strait from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL.

Strait, 23, made his NHL debut Monday in a 1-0 home loss to the Capitals. He had 13:02 of ice time on 14 shifts and no points.

A third-round pick in 2006, Strait has appeared in 55 games at the AHL level and has scored eight point (two goals, six assists) and a plus-16.
