Penguins demote Craig, Strait - 02-22-11

The Penguins demoted forward Ryan Craig (above) and defenseman Brian Strait to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL.

Craig has appeared in six NHL games this season. He failed to record a point and was a minus-3. In 49 AHL games this season, Craig scored 33 points (13 goals, 20 assists).

Strait made his NHL debut last night against the Capitals. He had 13:02 of playing time on 14 shifts and failed to record a point. In 54 AHL games this season, he has eight points (two goals, six assists).
