Penguins recall Tangradi - 02-11-11

Another day, another call-up.

In the wake of forward Dustin Jeffrey going down with an apparent right leg injury last night, the Penguins recalled forward Eric Tangradi (right) from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL. This is Tangradi's second recall from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton within two weeks and third stint in the NHL this season.

In 13 NHL games this season, Tangradi, 22, has two points. In 42 AHL games this season, he has 33 points (18 goals, 15 assists).

According to the Penguins' Web site, Jeffrey has now been placed on injured reserve.
