Uh... wow.

Penguins coach Dan Bylsma announced today that forward Evgeni Malkin suffered a torn ACL and MCL in his right knee during last night's game with the Sabres.

Malkin was injured early in the second period when Sabres defenseman Tyler Myers fell into his right knee.

Bylsma said: "Evgeni Malkin had an MRI this morning. The results show that he has a torn MCL and ACL. At this point in time we are discussing options with the doctors on what to do next."

In 43 games this season, Malkin has 37 points.
