DiPietro out four to six weeks due to facial injuries and knee swelling; Malkin back on top line - 02-04-11

After Wednesday's game, Islanders goaltender Rick DiPietro said he was "good" in regards to his health following a run in with the left fist of Penguins goaltender Brent Johnson.

Today, it was revealed DiPietro will be sidelined four to six weeks due to facial fractures and swelling in his chronically injured knee.

DiPietro told Arthur Staple of Newsday, "You don’t really ever want a broken face to be the reason you get extra rest."

With regards to the Penguins and tonight's game against the Sabres, not surprisingly, Evgeni Malkin has returned to the teams top line at this morning's skate:
