-Two goals by Carl Sneep led the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins to a 4-1 win against the Albany Devils. Eric Tangradi added a goal and two assists for the Penguins while teammate Andrew Hutchinson recorded two assists. John Curry made 28 saves in the victory.

-Quirky Stat of the Night: Curry and teammate Brad Thiessen are tied for the AHL lead with 18 wins.
-Peter Delmas made 28 saves for the Wheeling Nailers in a 2-0 shutout of the Elmira Jackals. Ben Street scored both of the Nailers' goals.
-Former Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins defenseman Ryan Lannon has joined KalPa of the SM-liiga in Finland.
-Happy 32sn birthday to former Penguins forward Robert Dome (right). A first-round pick in 1997, Dome, one of the bigger busts in franchise history, spent parts of two seasons with the Penguins. As a rookie in 1997-98, he appeared in 30 games and recorded seven points. After spending all of 1998-99 in the AHL and IHL, Dome played in 22 games for the Penguins in 1999-2000 and scored seven points. After spending 2000-01 in the Czech Republic and the AHL and missing most of 2001-02 due to an injury, Dome joined the Flames as a free agent in the 2002 offseason. In 52 games for the Penguins, he scored 14 points.
-Happy 25th birthday to former Penguins forward Chris Bourque. Claimed off waivers from the Capitals just prior to the 2009-10 season, Bourque's Penguins career amounted to 20 games and three assists. Midway through the season, Bourque, the son of Hockey Hall of Famer Ray Bourque, was re-claimed off waivers by the Capitals. He currently plays for Lugano of the NLA in Switzerland.
Southeast Division
-The Thrashers recalled goaltender Drew MacIntyre from Chicago of the AHL and demoted forward Nigel Dawes and former Pittsburgh Forge goaltender Peter Mannino (right) to Chicago.
Northwest Division
-Flames forward Ales Kotalik cleared waivers and was demoted to Abbotsford of the AHL.
Adams Division
-The NHL isn't done when it comes to trying to prevent concussions.
-There was some sort of draft or something for some meaningless game last night.
-Brandon Blandina's overtime goal gave the Robert Morris' men's team a 6-5 win against Canisius.
