Malkin injured, Penguins recall Jeffrey - 01-19-11

Things just keep getting better for the Penguins in terms of injuries
Forward Evgeni Malkin (above) will miss tomorrow's game in New Jersey due to what is believed to be a leg injury.
In 15:50 of ice time last night against the Red Wings, Malkin recorded one assist, had three shots and was a plus-1. In 42 games this season, he has 37 points.
As a result, the team recalled forward Dustin Jeffrey from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
Jeffrey has been recalled multiple times from the AHL this season. In four NHL games this season, Jeffrey has two points (one goal, one assist).
He is the AHL Penguins' leading scorer this season with 39 points (15 goals, 24 assists) in 36 games this season.
