Penguins

-The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins had their game against the Albany Devils in Atlantic City postponed due to unsafe ice conditions.
Atlantic Division
-Henrik Lundqvist made 31 saves for the Rangers in a 7-0 shutout of the Capitals. Ryan Callahan had two goals for Washington while teammates Artem Anisimov, Brandon Dubinsky, Brandon Prust and Marc Staal each recorded a goal and an assist. Washington has lost six consecutive games.
-Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin actually got into a fight with Dubinsky:

Southeast Division
-Capitals forward Alexander Semin was fined an undisclosed amount for a cross check to the head of Avalanche defenseman John-Michael Liles Saturday:

-The Capitals recalled forward Andrew Gordon from Hershey of the AHL.
-A cracked bone in his vertebrae will keep Panthers forward Cory Stillman sidelined indefinitely.
-The Lightning demoted forward Marc-Antoine Pouliot to Norfolk of the AHL.
Central Division
-The Blues demoted forwards Stefan Della Rovere and Dave Scatchard to Peoria of the AHL.
-With 399 career wins, Detroit's Chris Osgood is on the verge of becoming the 10th goaltender in NHL history to reach the 400-win plateau.
-Predators assistant coach Peter Horachek is battling prostate cancer.
Northwest Division
-Henrik Sedin had a goal and an assist for the Canucks in a 2-1 win at Edmonton. Teammate Daniel Sedin recorded two assists while Roberto Luong made all of 11 saves in the victory.

-Corey Perry had a hat trick and two assists for the Ducks in a 6-2 rout of the Wild. Captain Ryan Getzlaf added two goals and an assist for Anaheim while linemate Bobby Ryan contributed a goal and two assists. Jonas Hiller made 20 saves in the victory. Mikko Koivu recorded two assists for Minnesota.
