-Following the Maple Leafs' 4-1 home loss to the Flyers Thursday, a fan actually threw waffles from the stands at Toronto players.

-Maple Leafs defenseman Mike Komisarek will be sidelined seven to 10 days after injuring his finger in a fight with Penguins forward Arron Asham Wednesday.

-We're not goaltending experts, but we think Anderson played the wrong angle here:

-Avalanche forward Milan Hejduk left the game due to a groin injury.

-Shootout goals by Jordan Eberle and Linus Omark gave the Oilers a 4-3 win against the Lightning. Magnus Paajarvi had a goal and an assist in regulation for Edmonton while Nikolai Khabibulin made 38 saves in the victory.

{youtube width="480" height="295"}aBdO66187Os{/youtube}

-Omark being popular:

-Lightning forward and former Penguin Ryan Malone called the goal "a bleeping joke.”

-Lightning goaltender Dan Ellis, who was beaten on the goal, said the goal was embarrassing for Omark.

-Thinking Out Loud: The Lightning think this goal is disrespectful yet their players don't seem to have a problem with having Steve Downie as a teammate?

-Also, we're assuming the Lightning never had a problem when Martin St. Louis pulled this move out on Marc-Andre Fleury a few  years back:
