Malkin out - 12-04-10

Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin (above) will not play in tonight's game at Columbus due to an undisclosed ailment.

Malkin is believed to be suffering from a knee injury. He was limited to 16:56 of ice time in Wednesday's 3-2 win against the Thrashers. He missed one game this season, a 3-0 win at Carolina Oct. 30 due to his knee.

In 26 game this season, Malkin has 22 points.
