Penguins recall Conner - 11-10-10

Written by Seth Rorabaugh on .

The Penguins have recalled forward Chris Conner from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the AHL.

In 11 AHL games this season, Conner has nine points (three goals, six assists).

Conner appeared in eight games with the NHL Penguins last regular season and recorded three points.

Additionally, head coach Dan Bylsma confirmed Brent Johnson would get the start.

EN Says: Apparently, Conner was recalled as insurance due to a few of the regular forwards dealing with some sort of illness. Either way, Conner brings a ton of energy and speed to every shift he plays.
