-Happy 37th birthday to former Penguins forward and enforcer Dennis Bonvie. A free agent signing in the 1999 offseason, Bonvie spent parts of two seasons with the Penguins and five seasons with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins were he became arguably the most beloved player in the history of that club. With the NHL Penguins, Bonvie appeared in 28 games in 1999-2000 and amassed 80 penalty minutes. In 2000-01, Bonvie only played in three games with the NHL Penguins and was a minus-1. He joined the Bruins as a free agent in the 2001 offseason. In addition to owning three restaurants in Northeastern Pennsylvania, Bonvie currently serves as a scout for the Blackhawks.
