Atlantic Division
-Mark Streit's overtime goal gave the Islanders a 4-3 win at Washington. Streit added an assist while teammate Frans Nielsen contributed two goals. Dwayne Roloson made 37 saves in the win. Tomas Fleischmann led Washington with two goals. The Capitals had a six-game winning streak snapped.

-With forward Daniel Briere dealing with a "lower-body" injury, the Flyers recalled forward David Laliberte from Adirondack of the AHL.

Northeast Division
-Tim Connolly's overtime goal gave the Sabres a 3-2 win against the rival Maple Leafs. Connolly ended up with two goals and an assist while teammate Jason Pominville recorded two assists. Ryan Miller made 33 saves in the win. Tomas Kaberle led Toronto with two assists.
-Buffalo's goals, including Connolly's game-winner as called by the legendary Rick Jeanneret:

-Bruins coach Claude Julien called out captain Zdeno Chara.

Southeast Division
-Rostislav Olesz's shootout goal gave the Panthers a 6-5 win at Dallas. Florida was led by Steven Reinprect who had a hat trick and an assist while teammate Nathan Horton had three assists. Fabian Brunnstrom and Brian Sutherby each had a goal and an assist for the Stars.

-In his second season in the NHL, Lightning forward Steven Stamkos is playing like someone who was the first overall pick in the 2008 draft.
Central Division
-Cam Barker and Kris Versteeg each had a goal and an assist for the Blackhawks in a 3-2 win against the Blackhawks. Chicago's Patrick Kane added two assists.

Pacific Division

-Corey Perry and Bobby Ryan (above) each had two goals and an assist for the Ducks who blasted the Cancuks, 7-2. Teammate Joffrey Lupul added a goal and an assist. Jonas Hiller made 36 saves in the win.
-Ryan Clowe had a goal and an assist for the Sharks in a 3-1 win against the Avalanche. Teammate Patrick Marleau added two assists.
