Rangers pest Sean Avery has signed with the Dallas Stars for four-years and $15.5 million
EN Says: It seems like an unnecessary move for the Stars considering they have Steve Ott already there getting under opponents' skin. Plus there's a reason Avery has been with three different teams in his six season in the NHL. He might give you an nice spark of energy right off the bat, but he usually wears out his welcome. How will the Stars feel about this deal by year three or four? Surely co-general manager Brett Hull, a former teammate with Avery in Detroit, had a big role in making this deal happen.
