Student Rush dates released - 10-01-09

The Penguins announced the five dates for their ever popular Student Rush program.

Students will have a chance to purchase tickets for $20 to the following games:

Oct. 7 - Coyotes

Oct. 20 - Blues

Nov. 16 - Ducks

Jan. 28 - Senators

March 2 - Sabres

The team could very easily sell these tickets for almost any price it wants. But it still sees the value in exposing the product to future season ticket holders at a discounted rate.

And other than that cruddy Coyotes game, these are some pretty decent opponents. While the Blues, Ducks, Senators and Sabres aren't teams with the highest profile, it's not like they're the Islanders or Panthers.
