Best home win this season for the Dukes?
That is the case right now -- only to be upstaged if this team would go on to win a first-round A10 tournament game at the Palumbo.

Some thoughts/questions/observations, tell me if you agree/disagree/what you think:
- When Damian Saunders looked up with about 28 seconds left and saw Kurt Huelsman guarding him, he had to seriously think that going to the bucket and getting a layup was easier than trying to make two free throws. I can't think of a worse matchup in the A10.
- Does Saunders get a layup every single time he gets a steal?
- Lost in everything a little bit might be this: Eric Evans has played brillant basketball over the last few weeks. Going back to that UMass game, he has been wonderful.
- The Dukes had 42 points in the paint, 24 points off turnovers and 18 fast break points. Know what that means? Quickly turning defense to offense.
- Morakinyo Williams was, again, very good. He had zero turnovers and did you see the out-of-area rebound he got, when he shuttled in from near the free throw line to rip it down?
- If the Dukes had made free throws (they were 17 for 31) they would have ran away from Dayton.
- If Duquesne doesn't get a home game in the A10 tournament, it is entirely their own fault. Everything is lined up for them right now.
- Did Saunders get away with an intentional foul when he was tripped up Chris Wright from behind?
- Why were the officials going to the monitor at the very end? I didn't think you could go in that situation, as a whistle had never been blown.
- Jason Duty went 2 for 2 with two assists, a steal and zero turnovers on his Senior Day. But his standing ovation was probably what he will remember most.
- Nothing but class from the Dayton fans. Most of them who I could see applauded Duty while he was being recognized, and many of the UD people actually stood and clapped as Duty and his family walked onto the floor to be honored. Again, total class from a classy program.
- Sean Johnson continues to look like he will be a big-time guy in the future.
- Chase Robinson continues to look like he won't be a part of the future.
- Seems Bill Clark, even though he made just one 3-pointer, might be out of his shooting slump for good. The ball just looks different coming out of his hand.
- Melquan Bolding hasn't been himself over the past couple of games, but he got on the glass against UD, grabbing 6 rebounds.
- Chris Wright is an NBA guy, no question. After the first 8 minutes, I thought he was going to have about 50.
- Chris Johnson has 47 points in two games against the Dukes this season -- one game he did it with a bunch of layups, this time he did it with a bunch of jumpers. The kid shredded the back side of that Duquesne zone. I was ultra-suprised that long ball he took with 13 seconds left didn't go in.
- It is astounding how far Morakinyo's ability to get up and down the floor has come in a few months.
- Anything less that 2-1 in the remaining games of the regular season would be a disappointment for this team right now.
- Maybe it is just me, but I don't understand why the student section isn't like that every game.
