Dambrot on Duquesne offer

Akron coach Keith Dambrot revealed a few more thoughts about the Duquesne offer he turned down twice in a Cleveland Plain Dealer story that leads with the following:

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Keith Dambrot admitted he was tempted to become the next head basketball coach at Duquesne.

"My father [Sid Dambrot] played there," said the University of Akron coach. "The job did have some of the comfort level, like Akron. It pained me that Duquesne is not what it used to be."
