Looking through the stories on Post-Gazette.com early Thursday morning, one name flashed at me as highly-recognizable. Then I saw the subject matter and knew I had the right guy. Here's how: my mother lives in Aspinwall and I have seen this enormous man drifting sleekly around on a classic motorcycle on the borough's streets from time to time.
Yes, this is the former Duquesne standout who wrote this piece; a true polymath, sage, a thinker and a lot more than just some basketball player who teamed with his brother to beat up, virtually, the entire St. Francis team in Loretto one night.
