Stillergram

Probably the only "feature" that's come close to gaining recurring item status on this blog are the scores and scores of crowd and tailgating shots posted here over the past few years. Having done dozens of training camp practices and home games (and occasional away ones too), the fans pics -- although fun -- have started to feel a little repetitive.

Nothing like being dead last to a party, but in the spirit of taking a huge leap into early 2011, yours truly finally starting messing around with Instagram. Previously, I'd always shot pictures on a Nikon D5000 SLR camera and preferred posting them to Flickr with the absolute bare minimum of edits (plus, until recently, I didn't have an iPhone).

I gave the Instagram treatment to a handful of Steeler related photos I took at the Sunday night home game against Baltimore earlier this month and at the most recent game on Sunday in Cleveland. It's proven to be a fun new wrinkle. Perhaps I'll try an entire home game like this later this month.
