The GOP is accusing the Obama administration of covering up what happened in Benghazi for political advantage. They are making the ridiculous comparisons to Watergate and Iran-Contra. In fact, it is the GOP that is using the Benghazi tragedy for political advantage.

Last week the P-G ran a story that revealed that Luke Ravenstahl was the mystery man behind the "Committee for a Better Pittsburgh." Despite dropping out of the mayoral race, Luke hired the same firm responsible for the "Swift Boat" attack ads against John Kerry to create anti-Peduto spots. After the story ran, Luke logged into Facebook and criticized the P-G for reporting these facts.
The NRA hosted a "Youth Day" at the end of their annual convention, offering free six-month memberships. Children as young as those killed in Newtown took part in the festivities. Clearly, the irony is lost on the NRA.
