This election revealed one important fact: America is not just about white males anymore. During his campaign Mitt Romney managed to alienate women, Latinos, gays, African Americans, the poor and the middle class. That only left white males as the major voting category for Romney. That may have worked back in the 1950s, but not in 2012.
