Todd Akin

Republicans continue to astound me with their sensitivity toward women.  Todd Akin, a Republican from Missouri who is running for the U.S. Senate, was asked about his views on abortion when it comes to rape. Akin said, “if it’s a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down.”
