Kickback Club

Rod Blagojevich, former Illinois governor and contestant on The Apprentice, was found guilty on 17 counts of corruption. Let's be honest, all politicians play the quid-pro-quo game. They collect money from donors and then the donors expect something in return. Blago's mistake was he talked about the process openly. We prefer our corruption to remain behind the scenes.

Money and politics have always played a big role in American politics. I wish it were not so, but it is. The real crime is that Blago's downfall won't really change the system in Washington or Chicago.
