David and Goliath

The only thing I find amusing about Rob Rogers' David and Goliath cartoon (March 25) is how incorrect it is. I truly do not understand the outrage against the tea party participants. They are speaking out against the way the government is growing in size and power. There's your Goliath.

And, I can see a couple of possibilities for the role of David. Starting with Jason Altmire for standing up to the huge Democratic machine and voting the way the majority of his constituents wanted him to. And also, state Attorney General Tom Corbett, for filing a suit against the federal government, which wants to force people to buy health insurance or be fined.

Our government could be adding more than 16,000 additional Internal Revenue Service agents to keep track of those who don't pay up. Just how is that a good thing?
