Road trip

It has been at least 20 years since I have been up to Seven Springs, but I spent Saturday night in a little cottage 10 minutes from the resort with Mrs. Reg and Sooner, our decrepit hound.

It was just a getaway break and we did not ski. Instead, we took some long walks in the forest Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. The snow was mostly sparse, but it was beautiful to be out in the woods. On Saturday night, we had an excellent dinner at a restaurant called Out of the Fire in Donegal.

Before driving home, we drove into Seven Springs where all the condos are. I was amazed how much that part has been built up over the last few years. It is a veritable little village up on the mountain now.

Truth in blogging: I am writing this little what-I-did-on-the-holiday-weekend essay mostly just to start a new thread. The system doesn't work very well once it gets over 100 postings and the latest had more than 350, which may be a record.
