What's wrong with people?

Heath and Deborah Campbell of Hunterdon County, N.J., have created a lifetime of trouble for their adorable 3-year-old son.

His name is Adolph Hitler Campbell, the Associated Press reports, and the couple ingenuously claim they chose it because Heath liked it and "no one else in the world would have that name."

I say ingenuously because of the moniker the Campbell's hung on their other children. Their 2-year-old is JoyceLynn Aryan National Campbell. Their youngest, who won't be 1 until April, is Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell, named after the notorious leader of the Nazi SS, Heinrich Himmler.

What motivated these people to stick labels of hate onto their children instead of names a person could live with?

Well, it's hard to really answer the question when the parents profess surprise, a what's-all-the-fuss-about attitude when they're asked about the names.

But Heath Campbell, 35, said his ancestors are German and he wore a pair of black boots on Tuesday that he claims were worn by a German soldier during World War II.

Hateful is the moniker that belongs on their actions.
