How they voted on transit
Here's how the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission voted Monday night on $45 million in emergency funding to avert transit cuts in Allegheny County. The funding was approved 27-22.
Had it been rejected, the Port Authority would have cut service by 35 percent in March. Many of the commission members are county commissioners or other elected officials. Some are non-elected government appointees.
