Port Authority answers its critics

Port Authority has posted eight pages of frequently-asked questions and answers regarding its financial predicament on its website.

Why didn't the Allegheny County drink tax solve the authority's problems? Why should the agency get a rescue from the state when it's building that expensive subway extension? And those drivers -- aren't they grossly overpaid? Why doesn't the authority just stop wasting money instead of cutting service?
