Day 2 always seems worse

After a relatively quiet first day of Route 65 closure at the Fort Duquesne Bridge, Day 2 produced a ripple-effect mess on the Parkway North and Parkway West. The official detour takes traffic on the West End Bridge and West End Bypass/Route 51 and dumps it on the Parkway West at the entrance to the Fort Pitt Tunnel. Drivers opting for a different route are using the Parkway North. Things figure to stay sticky until the restriction is lifted next Tuesday evening.
