Anyone holding off on Black Friday shopping in hopes of better deals on Cyber Monday should probably reconsider their plans.
Dealnews.com a Huntsville, Ala.-based website dedicated to Black Friday deals, said that in 2011, 48 percent of its Editor's Choice deals came on Thanksgiving day. Black Friday itself provided 39 percent of Editor's Choice deals and Cyber Monday had around 31 percent.
Thanksgiving and Black Friday also topped Cyber Monday in the number of consumer electronics deals. Despite the lower percentage, Dealnews noted that apparel, accessories and home and garden products could be found at better prices on Cyber Monday.
