More bosses give the staff an online shopping pass
Cyber Monday could see a few more shoppers this year thanks to easygoing bosses.
According to a survey by Menlo Park, Calif.-based staffing firm Robert Half Technology, only 33 percent of chief information officers interviewed said their companies block access to online shopping sites -- down from 60 percent last year.
Additionally, 55 percent said their companies will allow online shopping but will monitor employees for excessive use.
Another 10 percent said their firms allow employees to shop online unrestricted.
