Windows shopping at the iTunes App Store
I have been looking around the iTunes App Store, a collection of third-party applications for the iPhone and iPod Touch that debuted Friday. To get it you have to download the newest version of iTunes. I did that and it takes about 15 minutes.
You also have to download new firmware for your device, which I have not done since my Touch is unavailable at the moment.
But I must say I was impressed with the number of applications already available, many for free. There are 33 pages for the Touch alone. As TechMan tries some of them, he'll report.
