Prayer 4 Peace offers hope at third Good Friday walk and rally in Homewood

Written by Ann Rodgers on .

The Prayer 4 Peace walk and rally in Homewood is just in its third year, but already has become one of the larger public Good Friday processions in the Pittsburgh area.  This year, in addition to the call to end street violence in the troubled neighborhood, the sponsoring churches are launching a plan to rebuild Homewood's economy.

The march steps off shortly after 10 a.m. from Westinghouse High School and ends with a rally at the intersection of Homewood and Frannkstown Avenues.
