Local woman kept cause of kidnapped Israeli alive

Written by Ann Rodgers on .

In 2009 I wrote a Passover story about Efrat Avramovich, an Israeli working with students in Pittsburgh, who was an advocate for the kidnapped Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit. It now appears that Mr. Shalit is about to be released. Efrat is back in Pittsburgh and she is celebrating. Let this be an encouragement to all who hold long vigils about the uncertain fate of people who are in trouble.
