Cardinal to preach in Latrobe Sept. 19

The Pittsburgh region’s ecclesiastical Favorite Son returns to the area on Monday, Sept. 19, when Cardinal Donald Wuerl of Washington DC will give the Alumni Day address at St. Vincent Seminary in Latrobe. Cardinal Wuerl, a native of Mount Washington who was bishop of Pittsburgh for 18 years, will celebrate Mass and deliver the homily at 4 p.m. in the basilica of St. Vincent Archabbey.
