The Buhl Community Park beside the Children’s Museum has just “opened” and already it’s cooking.
Tuesday is the first in a summer series of interactive public cooking demonstrations there with Chef Angelo Galioto of the Children’s Museum’s Big Red Room Café.
The Cook It! series will promote eating fresh food and provide recipes and samples of the food that is being grown in the museum’s garden.
Next Tuesday will feature bruschetta and fusilli pasta salad. On July 20, there’s pasta fresco and cold summer coup.
Macaroni salad and vegetarian chili is on the menu for July 24. On July 27, you’ve got your cucumber salad and guacamole.
On July 31, the menu features macaroni cheddar salad bowl and Waldorf salad.
