Sneak Peek: Nicole Richie for Macy's featured at New York Fashion Week

"Fashion Star" mentor, reality television personality, wife and mom Nicole Richie's line for Macy's limited-edition capsule collection may not hit stores until Wednesday, but those at New York Fashion Week got to preview it at the Macy's lounge at The Empire Hotel on Manhattan's Upper West Side.

It's heavy with 1970s-inspired prints and features lots of flowing Bohemian silhouettes.  Simple black and camel-colored blazers are dressed and edged up with metallic embellishments on the shoulders, and necklines of tops and dresses play with sheer paneling. There's also a sharp, fun faux leather jacket with faux fur sleeves. 

"I would say that's probably my favorite piece in the collection," Nicole told the Post-Gazette in a recent phone interview. "It's a great way to throw something on, even if it's over jeans and a T-shirt, and just make that be your specific outfit."
