NBC 'Fashion Star' winner Kara Laricks makes New York Fashion Week debut

From "Fashion Star" to Fashion Week, things have been busy for Kara Laricks.  She made her inaugural New York Fashion Week appearance this weekend with a presentation at Pier 57 along the Hudson River on Manhattan's West Side. 

The collection featured a juxtaposition of rich oranges, yellows and cyan blues, set against deeper hues.  Apparel included dresses, rompers, ankle pants, jackets, casual shorts and more.
