Pittsburgh Baby Gift Guide
The search for a Pittsburgh-themed baby gift often begins and ends with a Steelers onesie. And certainly, there’s nothing wrong with that. But for those looking beyond black and gold, here are a few options:

The book "Stop Thief," published this year, uses Pittsburgh as the inspiration for its fantasy city. Author and illustrator Adam J.B. Lane was born in London but grew up in Point Breeze, and modeled scenes in the book on Pittsburgh landmarks such as Pittsburgh Zoo, the Carnegie Museum, Kennywood and the old Nabisco factory on Penn Avenue, which is a chocolate factory in the book. Currently $12.74, on sale from a $16.99 list price, on Amazon.

What else is there to say, really? This onesie also comes in pink, blue, green, and kids sizes. $18.99, Cafe Press.

In the time before Daniel Tiger, there was this guy. Take a trip to the Land of Make Believe with Mister Rogers DVDs. The one above is packaged in a red sweater (!) for $18.99 from Shop PBS.

Trying to take baby to a Penguins game? This might not be the year. Relive the glory of the past with retro Penguins jersey onesies from Shop NHL. $19.99, size Newborn to 24 months.
