August is almost here, and by now, those with gardens are really starting to see the rewards of their hard work. The garden is singing! Most children love to plant small gardens and watch them grow. This year, each of my children chose at least one thing to plant and watch grow. Cucumbers or my son, and coneflowers for my daughter. Now, we pick cucumbers each day and enjoy the beautiful pink flowers and the butterflies they attract.
