High-Tech Water Slide, on Wheels

The Post-Gazette's Diana Nelson Jones reports today on a Carnegie Mellon class project that has become the Puriflume Splash Pad Play Space, otherwise known as the EcoBeastie. The eco-friendly spray park and water slide will travel around the city this summer, making an appearance at the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh August 3rd and 4th.
Conventional spray parks use about 100,000 gallons of water per day, while the EcoBeastie uses and cleans 110 gallons over and over. Read more.
