A passion for heirlooms

Christian Dake is a California grower who has a passion for heirlooms. He works for the Petaluma Seed Bank and grew hundreds of melons and other heirloom vegetables last season. Many of the varieties he grew are on display at the National Heirloom Exposition. He also shares a wonderful story about eating the world's hottest pepper.

Christina has personality with a capital P. I wish I could of used everything I shot of him, he had so much fascinating information about the stories around these historic varieties.
